Designing Tips:

Contrast is one of the most compelling parts of the design mood, readability and to highlight. Use a palette of contrasting colors background, fonts and graphics. Always ask the customer how they want the final image. If they want the Illustrator file, and you have many layers, but do not want to move them to a new work of art, one by one, it is easier to draw a large rectangle on the final image, Ctrl + right-click and select 'Create clipping mask. This crop your artwork to the shape you've drawn

The beautiful color swatch palette in Illustrator are priceless. But avoid the easy way, especially with the shading, gradients and effects.
